Meagan Cooper
Meagan is our most recent addition to the salon. Her beautiful smile will greet you as you walk through the front door. Meagan is a recent graduate at Princess Anne High School. She will be attending TCC in the fall to work on obtaining her Liberal Arts degree. The future will hopefully bring a transfer to William & Mary in about 2 years so she can pursue her dream of becoming a history teacher.

Tiffany Whipple
Tiffany has always known that her career dream is to be a Cosmetologist. That dream came true 2 years ago when she passed her State Board Exam. She really wraps her heart around our mission for customer service, and all our clients recognize that in her. Any time there is an opportunity for education, Tiffany is there to learn new techniques. Her passion for animals knows no bounds. She has nine cats which have been adopted with love.

Sharon Jernigan
Sharon is a forty-two year veteran cosmetologist who has a passion for the industry. She is a member of the Matrix Artistic Educator’s Team, which keeps her current with the latest cuts, coloring and fashion trends. She loves sharing her knowledge with the team in the salon, enabling the team the ability to give consistent technical service to all clients. Clients can feel assured of getting the same quality from each stylist. Sharon was invited to audition for a position as a Master Colorist on the Matrix Team in 2003. The exam is pretty tough and is two days of testing consisting of demonstrations, presentation and a written exam. Sharon says, “I feel honored to have just received the invitation, and know I will grow from the experience. I will be better able to share knowledge with our team members to give solid, consistent client service.”

Connie Greenawalt
Connie has been a member of the Hair It Is team in one way or another for 10 years. Her experience behind the chair has helped her to be a whiz of a salon coordinator. She's here to ensure your visit with us is a pleasant as possible. You will notice she is willing to jump in and help out at the drop of a hat. That commitment makes her an invaluable part of the team. You'll find her spending her free time with her husband of 15 years, in the garden or at the gym.

Rosie Escobar
Rosie was born in Guatemala and is a licensed nail and wax technician. She specializes in pedicures, and is very thorough and knowledgeable. She has ten years experience, and includes great massage techniques along with some reflexology. We have added a pedicure spa chair in her private room which incorporates a wonderful rolling & vibrating massage to add to the relaxation of your service.

Sharon Phelps
Sharon is a wife, mother and grandmother. She has been a hairstylist for over thirty years. She’s proud of her profession and of working side by side with Sharon Jernigan for fifteen years. Her professional field excites her now as much as it did when she first started. It allows her to use her creativity and she feels great at the end of the day knowing she’s helped someone look and feel great about themselves. Sharon has added the expertise of applying hair extensions. We use the best quality of hair, and they will last for up to four months.
